Katie is the Founder of Kempner Communications, a high-end communications firm specializing in strategic communications, reputation management, content creation, thought leadership initiatives, event development and management, and crisis communications.

Prior to founding Kempner Communications in 2015, Katie spent 18 years running global communications at renowned advertising agency Crispin Porter + Bogusky. Under her media guidance, CP+B and its work received tremendous industry and press recognition, which was instrumental in the growth of the agency. During that time, CP+B was acquired by MDC Partners (now Stagwell Partners), and Katie spent six years in a dual role, overseeing CP+B while also running corporate communications for MDC Partners. This included establishing the holding company’s US presence, and working with all MDC-owned agencies.

An interviewer and frequent moderator, Katie is passionate about helping working women navigate their lives. She is the creator and host of “Perspectives with Katie Kempner,” a long running digital series of inspiring conversations with remarkable working women. The show is available Spotify, Apple Podcasts and most places people listen to their favorite podcasts.
